【摘要】:Whitenessindexobtainedfromreflectancemeasurementsonexaggerateddriedpolishfilmsonfilterpapercanbeusedasameasurementofthecolorofsuchfilms.Whitenessindexmaybeusefulinpredictingthepotentialdiscoloringeffectofpolishfilmsonflooringsubstrates.Whitenessindexshouldbeusefulinspecificationswhencolorcomparisonsaremadewithastandardsamplepolish.1.1Thistestmethodcoverscomparingcolorsoffilms(orsolids)depositedfromtheemulsifiedparticlesinwateremulsionfloorpolishes.ItisbaseduponluminousreflectancemeasurementsmadewithtristimuluscolorimeterssuchastheHunterColorDifferenceMeter.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
