【摘要】:ISO14688-2:2004,togetherwithISO14688-1,establishesthebasicprinciplesfortheidentificationandclassificationofsoilsonthebasisofthosematerialandmasscharacteristicsmostcommonlyusedforsoilsforengineeringpurposes.Therelevantcharacteristicsmayvaryandtherefore,forparticularprojectsormaterials,moredetailedsubdivisionsofthedescriptiveandclassificationtermsmaybeappropriate.TheclassificationprinciplesestablishedinISO14688-2:2004permitssoilstobegroupedintoclassesofsimilarcompositionandgeotechnicalproperties,andwithrespecttotheirsuitabilityforgeotechnicalengineeringpurposes.ISO14688-2:2004isapplicabletonaturalsoilandsimilarman-madematerialinsituandredeposited,butitisnotaclassificationofsoilbyitself.
