【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesamethodforthelaboratorydeterminationofthesumofwaterandsedimentinresidualfueloilsusingthecentrifugemethod.Withsomeoilsitisdifficulttoobtainwaterorsedimentcontentsusingthismethod.Whenthissituationisencountered,ISO3733andISO3735shouldbeused.NOTE—Ithasbeenobservedthatcentrifugalmethodsofdeterminationofwaterandsedimentmay,inmanycases,giveerroneousresults.Thisisespeciallysowhenuseofahigh-speedmixerhasbeenemployedtoobtainarepresentativesample.Themethodisthereforenotentirelysatisfactoryandtheamountofwaterdeterminedisalmostalwayslowerthantheactualwatercontent.Significantquantitiesofwaterandsedimentcancauseoperationalproblemsinhandlingequipmentandinenginesandburners,particularlywhenthewaterpresentcontainsmineralsalts.Designofresidualfueloiltreatmentfacilities,suchasfiltersorcentrifuges,isbasedonamaximumquantityofmaterialtoberemovedbeforecombustion.Residualfueloilsdestinedforfurtherrefineryprocessingalsorequirelowlevelsofwaterandsedimenttominimizecorrosionproblems.

【摘要】:Thistestmethodisdesignedtocomparesealingcharacteristicsofgasketmaterialsundercontrolledconditionsbyprovidingaprecisemeasureofleakagerateatdifferentpressloadsupto32MPa(4640psi).Thistestmethodissuitableformeasuringleakageratesfrom0.1mL/mintoashighas5L/minforgases.Thistestmethodevaluatesleakratesaftertimeperiods(typically30min)thatresultinasteadystateleakageratecondition.Holdinggasketmaterialsunderloadandinternalfluidpressureuntilsteadystateisachievedisrequiredtoobtainreproducibleresults.Ifthefluidbeingusedinthetestcauseschanges,suchasswelling,inthegasketmaterial,itmayaffectresultsanddiminishrepeatability.1.1Thistestmethodcoversameansofevaluatingthesealingpropertiesofsheet,composite,andsolidform-in-placegasketmaterials(seeClassificationF104orF868)atroomtemperature,andmaybeusedforfluid(gasorliquid)leakratemeasurements.Itutilizesrelativelyshortholdtimesandisnotintendedtopredictlong-termperformanceinapplication.1.2Thistestmethodissuitableforevaluatingthesealingcharacteristicsofagasketmaterialunderdifferentpressloadsbymeasuringtheleakagerate.Thistestmethodmaybeusedasanacceptancetestwhentheproduceranduserhaveagreedtospecifictestconditionsforthefollowingparameters:(1)testmedium,(2)internalpressureofthemedium,(3)pressloadonthegasketspecimen,and(4)thesurfacefinishoftheplatens.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesandtodeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
