【摘要】:Thispracticeprovidesasystematicprocedureforsamplinganddeterminingtheuniformityofuser-selectedpropertiesofingredientsofconcrete.ResultsderivedfromapplicationofthepracticearegenerallyintendedforinformationonlyandarenotrequirementsofanyexistingASTMspecificationonconcreteorconcretematerials.Aconcretematerialsspecificationmaymakereferencetothispracticeasameansofobtaininguniformityinformation,butneedstodefinethepropertiestobemeasuredandthelotsizeandsampleunittobeused.Thepracticeisapplicabletobothproducersofconcretematerialsandtoconsumersofconcretematerials,althoughdetailsofapplicationofthepracticemayvary,dependingontheintendedpurposeoftheuserofthepractice.Theprocedureisapplicabletoanypropertyofanyconcreteingredientthatcanbedescribedquantitatively,andforwhichconventionalparametricstatisticsareapplicable.Theprocedureisbasedongrabsamples,whichwilltendtoshowthemaximumamountofvariationintheselectedmaterialproperty.Theprocedurewasdevelopedforapplicationtomaterialsfromasinglesource,butitcanbeappliedtoamaterialsdeliverystreamfrommorethanonesource,dependingonthepurposesoftheuserofthepractice.Calculationsarecorrectedfortestingerror,thereforegivinganestimateoftheuniformityoftheselectedmaterialproperty.Theuniformityoftheselectedmaterialpropertyprovidestheuserwithoneindicatorofthesourcevariationoftheconcreteingredient.Althoughvariabilityinpropertiesofconcretematerialscanbeasignificantcauseofvariabilityinconcreteproperties,thispracticedoesnotpurporttogiveinformationonthisrelationship.Thispracticedoesgiveinformationonuniformityofingredientsfromwhichtheusercan,alongwithsupplementaryinformationorcorrelativetestingofconcreteproperties,developquantitativeestimatesoftheeffects.1.1Thispracticecoversaprocedurefordeterminingtheuniformityofpropertiesofconcretematerialsfromasinglesource.Itincludesrecommendationsonsampling,testing,analysisofdata,andreporting.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
