【摘要】:1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofthepurityofisophorone.Thismethodalsodeterminestheimpuritiesofthematerialinconcentrationlevellessthan0.5mass%,whichmayincludemesityloxide(MSO),mesityloxide-isomer,mesitylene,trimethylcyclohexenone(TMCH),phorone,phorone-isomer,xylitone,andtetralone.1.2WatercannotbedeterminedbythistestmethodandshallbemeasuredbyotherappropriateASTMprocedure.Theresultisusedtonormalizethechromatographicdatadeterminedbythistestmethod.1.3Forpurposesofdeterminingconformanceofanobservedoracalculatedvalueusingthistestmethodtorelevantspecifications,testresult(s)shallberoundedoff"tothenearestunit"inthelastright-handdigitusedinexpressingthespecificationlimit,inaccordancewiththerounding-offmethodofPracticeE29.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesandtodeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
