【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversasphalt-rubberbinder,consistingofablendofpavinggradeasphaltcements,groundrecycledtire(thatis,vulcanized)rubberandotheradditives,asneeded,foruseasbinderinpavementconstruction.Therubbershallbeblendedandinteractedinthehotasphaltcementsufficientlytocauseswellingoftherubberparticlespriortouse.Note18212;Ithasbeenfoundthatatleast15%rubberbyweightofthetotalblendisusuallynecessarytoprovideacceptablepropertiesofasphalt-rubber.1.2ThevaluesstatedineitherSIunitsorinch-poundunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemmaynotbeexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnon-conformancewiththestandard.1.3Thefollowingprecautionarycaveatpertainstothetestmethodportionsonly,Sections4and5ofthisSpecification:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Specificprecautionarystatementsaregivenin4.3.2.
