【摘要】:Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofrespirabledustconcentrationinworkplaceatmospheres.Variationsofthetestmethodareinworld-wideusefordeterminingcompliancerelativetooccupationalexposurelevels.Thetestmethodmaybeusedtoverifydustcontrolmeasures.Thetestmethodmayalsobeappliedinresearchintohealtheffectsofdustinanoccupationalsetting.1.1Thistestmethodprovidesdetailsforthedeterminationofrespirabledustconcentrationdefinedintermsofinternationalconventioninarangefrom0.5to10mg/m3inworkplaceatmospheres.Specificsaregivenforsamplingandanalysisusinganyoneofanumberofcommerciallyavailablecyclonesamplers.1.2Thelimitationsonthetestmethodareaminimumweightof0.1mgofdustonthefilter,andamaximumloadingof0.3mg/m2onthefilter.Thetestmethodmaybeusedathigherloadingsiftheflowratecanbemaintainedconstant.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.4Thistestmethodcontainsnotesthatareexplanatoryandarenotpartofthemandatoryrequirementsofthemethod.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoconsultandestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
