【摘要】:Thisdocumentspecifiestherequirementsforthedesign,assessment,constructionandtestingofequipmentintendedforuseinpotentiallyexplosivegasordustatmospheres,protectedbythetypeofprotection:Flameproofenclosure"d".ThisdocumentsupplementstherequirementsinEN13463-1,thecontentsofwhichalsoapplyinfulltoequipmentconstructedtothisdocument.Equipmentcomplyingwiththerelevantclausesofthisdocumentmeetstherequirementsforthefollowingcategories:?EquipmentGroupICategoryM2–thatdoesnotcontainanignitionsourcearisingfromsevereoperatingconditions,inparticulararisingfromroughhandlingandchangingenvironmentalconditions;?EquipmentGroupIICategory2Gor2D–thatdoesnotcontainanignitionsourcearisingasaresultofforeseeablemalfunctions.ThetypeofignitionprotectiondescribedinthedocumentcanbeusedeitheronitsownorincombinationwithothertypesofignitionprotectiontomeettherequirementsforequipmentofGroupIcategoriesM2,orGroupIIcategories1and2dependingontheignitionhazardassessmentinEN13463-1.NOTETherequirementsforGroupICategoryM1equipmentaregiveninEN50303,whichspecifiestherequirementsforbothelectricalandnon-electricalequipment.ThisdocumentshallnotbeusedforequipmentintendedforuseinsulphurdustandorganicperoxidesbecauseofthedifficultyoftestingandspecifyingtherequirementsThisdocumentdoesnotapplytotheignitionprotectionofelectricalequipment,orreciprocatinginternalcombustionengines.FortheserequirementsreferenceshallbemadetoEN60079-0andEN60079-1forelectricalequipmentandEN1834-1,-2and-3forreciprocationinternalcombustionengines.
