【摘要】:1.1Thispracticeoutlinesproceduresforthepetrographicexaminationofsamplesofhardenedconcrete.Thesamplesexaminedmaybetakenfromconcreteconstructions,theymaybeconcreteproductsorportionsthereof,ortheymaybeconcreteormortarspecimensthathavebeenexposedinnaturalenvironments,ortosimulatedserviceconditions,orsubjectedtolaboratorytests.Thephrasex201C;concreteconstructionsx201D;isintendedtoincludeallsortsofobjects,units,orstructuresthathavebeenbuiltofhydrauliccementconcrete.Note18212;Aphotographicchartofmaterials,phenomena,andreactionproductsdiscussedinSections8-13andTables1-6areavailableasAdjunctC856(ADJCO856).1.2Thepetrographicproceduresoutlinedhereinareapplicabletotheexaminationofsamplesofalltypesofhardenedhydraulic-cementmixtures,includingconcrete,mortar,grout,plaster,stucco,terrazzo,andthelike.Inthispractice,thematerialforexaminationisdesignatedasx201C;concrete,x201D;eventhoughthecommentarymaybeapplicabletotheothermixtures,unlessthereferenceisspecificallytomediaotherthanconcrete.1.3AnnexA1outlinesanuranylacetatemethodforidentifyinglocationswherealkali-silicagelmaybepresent.Itisarequirementthatthesubstancesinthoselocationsmustbeidentifiedusinganyothermoredefinitivetechniques,suchaspetrographicmicroscopy.1.4Thepurposesofandproceduresforpetrographicexaminationofhardenedconcretearegiveninthefollowingsections:
